Sonia's room

Room available in quiet South Boulder townhouse. Rent is $832/mo + utilities (usually between $35-$50/mo when split up). It is small but comfortable with a spacious closet and nice natural light. You will be joining as a subletter, with the opportunity to join the lease in July. My two roommates, Karen and Zach are a couple with two dogs, so no pets please. I am looking for a kind, quiet, clean person to take my spot in the house. The house has all of the modern conveniences in-unit (dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer). While the room is not fully furnished, you are welcome to keep the bed if you are interested. There is a small garden and lots of outdoor space in the surrounding area. I have added a lot to the flower planting, and I hope in the spring you will be able to enjoy my bulbs!

A little abut the surrounding area: You are a 5 minute walk from Shannahan ridge trailhead, right at the base of the flatirons. When I say the view is unbeatable, I mean it. The place is a 5 minute drive from the Table Mesa shopping center, hosting a variety of grocery, shopping and dining options. The neighborhood is quiet, lots of people have dogs, and there is a nice shared green space in between the houses. In the summer, you can enjoy the community pool which includes a grill as well. There is also a community garden plot, which I have a plot in. If you are interested, I could speak with the organizer to see if she would be willing to transfer it to you.

Transportation: the place is next to a Skip bus stop which runs past campus and right downtown. It takes about 15 minutes to get into town by bus, less time to drive. There is garage storage, and parking close by as well. If you are interested, please feel free to message me. Ideally, I would like to set up a time for prospective candidates to see the place and meet Karen and Zach to make sure you would be a good fit.

Karen: Full time caretaker. Karen has a can do attitude and brings a great energy to the house.She enjoys outdoor adventures with her sweet senior husky Mia. Year round, you can find her out on the trails, biking, snowboarding, hiking or camping. She also enjoys art, and has a background in art history.

Zach: Server and Bartender. Zach is a super sweet, mellow guy. He is our resident tall person, so it might be nice to get someone else who can reach things off the top shelf! He, like Karen loves the outdoors, particularly skiing.
