The room for rent is a 10’ x 11’ (110 sq ft) furnished bedroom with a private bathroom for the tenant. The room is located in the front of the house, with the private hallway just past the front door entrance; there is street parking available. There are 2 small closets as well as on site storage if needed in both the basement and attic that will be included with the rent. There are several common areas, including an open-concept kitchen with granite countertops, sleek subway tile, stainless steel appliances, and an entertainment-ready island. There’s not just one but two living spaces, plus a dining area. There is also an outdoor oasis with a 140 sqft screened-in porch + 290 sqft deck, creating nearly 500 sqft of recreational entertaining. I-40, Germantown, Downtown, Sylvan Park, West Nashville, The Nations & General Clinton B Fisk Park are all just minutes away. Fisk University, Meharry Medical College, TSU and the bus stop at Jefferson and 21st are within walking distance.

I am a male in my mid-40’s, I am pretty laid back, open minded, clean person looking for a housemate of the same. I have another room on the property I will be renting out as well and will be looking for the same, like minded tenant there as well. I will take care of all of the upkeep of the house and lawn, as well as the shared spaces. I do, however, expect any tenant to respect the common areas and clean up after themselves as well as keeping their private spaces clean.
