About the room
Room opening up on Dec 10th (or earlier) in three bedroom, 1.5 bath house in NE Portland, walking distance from the Alberta Arts district. Lease is 1 year and we each have individual leases with the landlord. Month-to month lease $850. Long-term stay preferred. Application is $50. Deposit is $1000. Room is upstairs, street-facing, with walk-in closet. Basement storage. Washer & dryer in basement. Ample street parking Fenced in backyard. Roomy kitchen with a large pantry off to the side. Spacious common areas. Hardwood floors.
We’re looking for a kind, communicative, and responsible roommate who cleans up the common areas after they’re done using them, and communally pitches in with chores as well as sharing house supplies. Please no couples. No free-roaming pets allowed under the lease (terrariums ok). Must be LGBTQ-friendly. Smoking only off property per the lease.
There’s space for some household items and small furniture. Furniture in pictures will vary as current roommate is taking some belongings, mostly the plants and decor, with her. Utilities are standard Portland utilities averaging around $60 - $100 and is a bit higher when the water bill is due quarterly Please tell us a little about yourself when inquiring about the room
About the roomies
H (He/him) 30-year-old working on a second degree in computer science. In my free time, I enjoy reading, working out, playing guitar, hanging out with friends, going to concerts and other types of events, and outdoor activities like skiing, hiking, and camping.
T (He/him) 30-year-old working part-time in office, part-time from home as a graphic designer. Whenever I’ve got spare time, I enjoy making art, cooking, reading, working out, going to concerts, and hiking.
