West 12th Avenue

I live in a two bedroom condo/loft type home. It’s located on the second floor of the building. Room comes with one uncovered outside parking space which is also gated on the property. Most of the people who live here own their home. It doesn’t seem like there is much renters here. We do have an HOA but we don’t have to pay into it or anything, just follow their basic ass rules. I moved here from California with my current roomie and have been here for 2 years. He’s moving out so I’m looking for someone to replace him! There’s really only one requirement and that is that we vibe. If we’re going to be signing a new lease together for at least 12 months then we need to be sure we can live together. I know it’s not that simple but we can try our best to determine if we are a good match before we sign the lease. Facetime, Lunch, etc. As for the room itself, it is the master bedroom. It has it’s own bathroom and sliding door to the outside. House has great wifi for really cheap actually. It would cost you like $5-10 a month. It has central air and heating as well which usually will cost you $50-$150 depending on the season. One last thing I’d like to note is that although the rent is split 1230/1000 (my room is smaller and the walls don’t touch the ceilings) I’m not sure how much the rent will go up, hopefully not at all. Last year it went up $50 each so I’m hoping for the same this year.

I’m pretty chill as a roomie. This is a 420 friendly place, so if you don’t like the smell then this isn’t for you. I also have a small dachshund (weenie dog) she chills in the living room most days while I work. I am home a lot and usually not in my room. I am either gaming on my pc which is located in the far back part of the living room. If I’m not gaming, I’m lounging on the couch lol. My current roomie is the complete opposite of me and stays in his room most days so it has been working out pretty well. However, if you are someone like me who likes to lounge in the open space of the place then you will just have to be good at co-existing. I will by no means “hog” the place, there is plenty of space for the both of us. Occasionally, I will have friends over and we will party pretty late. That being said, all nighters are pretty rare but do happen. These are all things that we can get into over lunch or facetime.
