The room available is about 12x12. It has a built in dresser and closet with lots of shelf space. There’s a furnished kitchen with a washer and dryer. There’s two open living spaces we can decide how we want to utilize. Mesta park is just across the street and uptown is right down the street with plenty of restaurants and bar options. Midtown is fairly close and one of my favorite coffee shops where I play music at monthly is there. Homeland is the closest grocery store, but there’s a neighborhood Walmart is fairly close by. The plaza district is another nearby place I like to go to for food and other activities. There’s always monthly and sometimes weekly events going on around here in the LGBTQ community as well as poetry, music, writing, art, and biking. It’s a pretty safe area. The apartment itself is pretty old so it’s not the fanciest but it works and the property managers are always responsive and help out with any issues I’ve ever had.
It’s just me and my axolotl Jermaine :) I practice classical guitar often during the day, sometimes at night but my current roommate hasn’t complained and has even said he enjoys hearing me play so I don’t think I’ll get annoying, but if it comes to that we can work out a good schedule for what hours I can play. As long as we can communicate preferences and needs and agree on how we want to keep the place comfortable for both of us, I don’t see us having many issues. I’m pretty introverted so I stick to myself mostly so I’ll most likely be in my room or out doing other things.
