About the room

Large master bedroom for rent in 3 bed 2 bath house. Room for rent has it’s own private bathroom, which is shown in the photos. Preferably looking for a roommate who is a young working professional and or a graduate student. The photos of the room show the current tenant’s furniture in the room, but the room itself will come unfurnished. The rest of the house is furnished as shown in the photos.

This newly renovated 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom is located in the historical Ashview Heights. Updated kitchen, granite countertops and SS appliances. It has an ideal location as it is steps from the westside beltline trail which connects you to everything that’s happening on the west side. Less than 3 miles (10 minute drive, 17 minute bike ride) from Westside quarry Park (soon to be Atlanta’‘s newest and largest park and will be home to Microsoft’’s 90 acre campus). 1.5 miles ( 5 minute drive, 11 minute bike ride) from Downtown Atlanta (Mercedes Benz Stadium, state farm arena, GA aquarium, World of Coke, Centennial Olympic Park, Skyview Atlanta). Less than 2 miles ( 7 minute drive, 14 minute bike ride) to up and coming Lee and White district (Monday night garage, best end brewery, wild heaven brewery, ASW Distillery, Boxcar at Hop City West End, Finca to Filter, cultured South Fermentation Co, the Overlook Bouldering and Fitness and much more development in the works). 10-15 minute drive to Georgia Tech and a 15-20 minute drive to Emory. 15 minute commute to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Easy access to I-20, I-285 and I-75/85.

About the roomies

I am a fourth year PhD student at Georgia Tech, and the roommate who is staying is a masters student at GSU. We are both males in our mid to late 20s. We are both clean and respectful of each other and shared spaces in the house. We keep the house quiet during the week as we both are busy with work and prioritize our sleep, and occasionally on the weekends we have people over to grill, hangout etc. Very occasionally I’ll have people over mid week to play board games, and would love if the new roommate would want to join in on board games.
