Mabel's room

We’re excited to have you join us in our home! You’ll have a private room upstairs with a view of the backyard, with a shared bathroom on the same floor, and another half-bath downstairs.

Shared use of the kitchen, dining room, and living room. You will also have access to some storage space in the basement and shed.

We have a huge backyard (0.5) acres, so this is a great place for people who love the outdoors. We have space to grow vegetables or build things in the yard, and would love you to be involved in those things if you want to!

We’re about a 20 min walk south of downtown, close to county park.

The price is $500 per month, plus utilities, with an extra fee if you have pets. We could also probably provide some bedroom furniture if you’re in need of that.

We are a friendly couple who care about kind communication and looking out for one another. If you want to be part of movie nights or even cooking together we’d love that! But if you prefer to keep to yourself that’s cool with us too.

One of us is from the UK, and the other grew up in Lancaster but moved around a lot as a kid. We’re into crafts, cooking, the outdoors, and spending meaningful time with friends. We also love design and want our home to feel cosy, and like a place that feels like home to you too :) We’re also into self-development things like journalling!

We have another housemate who lives in the basement. He is from Argentina and while he often spends most of his time downstairs, we love sharing the occasional dinner together and spending time together as a household :)

We also have a yellow English lab named Cora. She is the kindest, most gentle, and loving doggo and always loves pets and snuggles if that’s something you’re into!
