Neighborhood: The house is located in a charming subdivision of Brooktree in Gladstone (KCMO Metro Area). One of the standout advantages of living in Brooktree is that residents are not subject to Kansas City, MO’s 1% e-tax, allowing you to keep more of your hard-earned money. It is situated in a conveniently located area and offers easy access to a wide range of amenities. Whether you need to run errands, go shopping, or dine out, you’ll find everything you need just a stone’s throw away. The neighborhood is near major highways, making commuting a breeze for those who work in downtown Kansas City or other surrounding areas.

The House: A 2-story home with 4-bedrooms, 2-1/2 bathrooms, front and backyard (Not Fenced) and 2-car garage that is heated/cooled. First floor has living room, kitchen, family room, half bath. The house sits up on a hill giving a view of the surrounding neighborhood. It has a large, opened, deck, allowing for outdoor relaxation and fresh air with a hot-tub for use all winter long. The second floor has 3 bed rooms and 2 full baths. I do have an extra full size XL bed in case you would be in need of a bed. Washer and Dryer are on the same floor as bedrooms. The basement/garage has a bedroom/movie room and a space for parking for 2 cars inside the garage. The house is tucked away on a quiet street in a quiet neighborhood. Rent would be $600 a month and the utilities will be split evenly.

Me: I am 36 years of age. No kids. Not married. I live alone. I work in IT full-time and work from home. I stay pretty active. I am an avid gym goer and pickleballer. Occasionally, I go to church. I watch sports from time to time, basketball, football, tennis, soccer. I like movies. I am also a gamer when I have time. I do like to travel. I would describe myself as chill and easy-going. I would want my roommate to be the same. My personality is more introverted, but I enjoy socializing especially if the person is a good fit. I am a bit of a minimalist and like to keep things simple, easy, and without clutter. I get along with all types of people from all walks of life. I am respectful of boundaries and very approachable. If you live here, my motto is, you break it, you fix it or buy another one. I am hoping to get 1-2 roommates, 3 roommates top if its a good fit.

Lastly, as for pets. I love dogs and cats. Just don’t own any of them. I am open and willing to accept pets and even babysit your pet if you leave out of town or gone for long periods of time, no cost to you; however, that depends on the breed, fur type, size and some house rules for pets that would be best for everyone.
