I am 30-year old male originally from Hawaii and recently PCS’d back home here. I have a career as a Government civilian.

The reason why I rented out a house rather than apartment is due to the fact that I owned a house in the mainland, but moved everything with me during the PCS process. There’s stuff that I didn’t want to part with like brand new washer and dryers, a french door fridge, garage toolbench/drawer, gas grill, etc. Stuff that would normally not fit in a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment.

Cost of living back home in Hawaii is steep, and I need a working professional to help with the rent. As stated above, I will be paying two-thirds of the rent and utilities as I will be occupying the master bedroom and one of the rooms as a personal office.
