About the room

The location is 2 doors from the Hillsborough River surrounded by riverfront parks just 2 miles from downtown Tampa in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood.
The house itself is spacious and open with lots of light, modern appliances and furnishings and clean wood floors with a few rugs but no carpeting.

The bedroom is full of morning light, large, very private and located at the end of the hallway. There’s a built-in unit in the beveled mirror-doored closet and contemporary decor.

The yard has beautiful ancient Grand Oaks, a screened back porch and a custom built 6 foot cypress privacy fence. A reserved parking space is provided in the driveway. All Utilities are included and there’s a washer/dryer, too. Use of the 22 foot by 12 foot above ground swimming pool included except during cooler months when it’s empty.

The prospective roommate must work or attend classes outside the home at least 20 hours per week, during the daytime work/class schedule. I sleep from 11:00 PM until 6:30 or 7:00 AM and I have the alarm system on when I sleep or leave the house.

The first month’s and last month’s rent and refundable security deposit are required to move in. There’s a 5 month minimum stay for the roommate rent rate. The Airbnb-type, short term monthly rate is $300 per week with credit card deposit.
