Private room and (mostly) private bathroom in Chalfont, PA near Peace Valley Park. Room is 11x12’ with two windows and hardwood flooring. Currently repainting (will upload new photos soon). There is a full bathroom with tub and shower just outside the door (I say mostly private because I would ask that guests might be allowed to use the bathroom too). That will also be repainted and updated a bit before you move in. I can provide a bed and some furnishings if needed. There are three bedrooms total plus a shared living room, family room, kitchen, and basement. Deck and porch, plus almost an acre of land. Less than 15 minute drive into Doylestown. You will need a vehicle!

Looking for a cat person who is ok with some chaos! The house needs some updating so I will be painting, landscaping, and working on other home renovation projects. I’m a professor so my work schedule is all over the place. I spend most of my time working on my computer while watching tv, but I enjoy hiking, biking, and sewing. I travel fairly often so it would be great if you are willing to cat sit occasionally. I am not a particularly social person but may sometimes have people over or have friends or family visit overnight a few times a year. You would be welcome to also have visitors stay in the (furnished) guest room occasionally. Currently it is just me (early 30s) and my cat, Pawpaw (about 7 years old). Would prefer to live with women of a similar age (Pawpaw is skeptical of men). No dogs but could consider another cat. No smoking. Still trying to figure out exact costs but rent will be somewhere around $900 to $1000 including utilities. Move-in date is relatively flexible.
