Unfurnished room available in a shared 3 bedroom 2 bathroom single family home right outside the village of Stowe with a panoramic view of Mount Mansfield from the back yard. The home is an eight mile drive from Stowe Mountain Resort and a two minute drive from the village center or a 10-15 minute walk via the field out back/quiet path.

The home has roomy and fully furnished common areas and a fully stocked kitchen.

The available room is on the back corner of the house next to one of the two shared full bathrooms and has a lovely view of farmland, quaint barns and nearby ridges from the window.

Rent is $825 a month and includes driveway plowing in the winter and lawn care and mowing in the summer. Electric, Wi-Fi and fuel in the winter are split evenly three ways.

First/Last months rent and security deposit are require for move in.

I am an outdoor recreation professional in my early thirties. I work as a ski instructor and part time snow shoe guide in the winter and a camp director and paddling guide in the warmer months, as well as part time at a restaurant seasonally. I also have a VERY friendly, hypoallergenic/non shedding small dog (Shih Tzu) named Sophie.

My roommate is also a full time ski instructor in the winter and works in construction in the warmer months.

We are both easy going and enjoy staying active in the outdoors as well as chilling at home sometimes. We are relatively neat but also don’t mind our house being lived in. We sometimes joke that it’s a chill but well put together ski bum house.

We would love to find a like minded roommate in their 20s-30s, especially someone who also works in winter sports/outdoor rec, but we are open to anyone who is nice, easy going and respectful of the home and property.
