This room is a dream & we are looking for just the right person to take advantage of this hideaway located enviously between the vibrancy of the East Village and serenity of Stuytown.

• A generously sized room measuring 10 x 12, complete with a standalone closet for your convenience (able to be removed upon request if desired).
• A picturesque view of the East Village skyline from the southwestern facing window.
• Access to common living spaces including a well-appointed kitchen, inviting dining area, comfortable living room, and a shared bathroom.

What’s Included:

• As a Stuytown resident, you will have access to the extensive amenities available which include tennis (pickle ball), basketball, volleyball & ping pong courts, an outdoor gym, along with multiple parks, wooded walking paths & lush private green spaces.
• There is a greenmarket that takes place each week at the Stuytown Oval excepting in winter, but there is an ice-skating rink.
• Stuytown maintains private security throughout the grounds that is easily reachable 24 hours a day to ensure safety and peace of mind.
• Laundry facilities conveniently located within the building.

We are a married couple in professional hospitality that strives to create comfort around us as we retreat and recharge from our busy schedules. Our apartment is smoke-free and caters to diverse schedules, accommodating those with night jobs as well as those who work from home. We emphasize respectful cohabitation and clear communication as the foundation of our shared living experience. We do have a very friendly small dog with a massive personality, and while we love animals, please note that we can’t accommodate any additional pets.

We are seeking a mature and responsible individual who values good boundaries and expectation-setting to create a harmonious living environment. If you appreciate a retreat amongst the vibrancy of lower Manhattan living, this could be a good match for you. Frequent travelers are also welcome to use the space as a landing pad.
