It is just my toy poodle and I :) I am a 36 and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I work from home and would prefer a roomie who does not also work from home. My pup goes to daycare a lot during my work week, I am open to reduced rent in exchange for some puppy care depending on your schedule. I am open to very small friendly dogs who are 100% house trained. There is a doggy door but my pup is too tiny to use it but can be opened for your pup. The back yard is very large and great for dogs. I would love for my pup Lu to have a playmate! She is young and super smart and is on a regimented schedule. I am laid back, I work in mental health so my work week evenings are generally quiet and on weekends I like to take my pup out and about or sometimes just relax at home. I keep a tidy home and would expect the same. I am not over the top with with this but expect a roomie to clean up after themselves etc. The space is not very large so I would prefer someone who is quieter in the evenings during the week.I am an extrovert but working in mental health all day I am generally not too chatty on work day evenings. I am cool with occasional weekend get togethers with friends and hanging outside on the patio etc, but my pup is only 5 pounds so my preference would be that weekend get togethers are minimal. The room can be furnished or unfurnished depending on what you need. This is likely best as a temporary situation for now, month to month or 3-6 months. I am considering selling the home in the spring but there is also a possibility that I would move out and you could move another person in if you wanted to pay full rent. All of my work is recorded and must be HIPAA compliant so if you work from home during the day that could pose an issue due to my job. References are a must, I am not trying to deal with any drama of any sort. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out! I don’t smoke but the house is 420 friendly. I am open to the idea of a cat, I don’t think 2 cats would work with the space. I do have a puppy who loves cats and thinks they are puppies so if you have a cat who is not into puppy energy and wants to roam about the house then that would be an issue. Litterbox would likely need to be in your bedroom because puppies love to get into litter boxes! There is also space in the laundry room that could be blocked off with the child gate if your kitty could jump over that. I have a single car garage with space for storage and a shed in the backyard that is basically empty. There is a large closet in the room and additional storage available in linen closet, coat closet and laundry room.
