Continuing roommate search! If you know anyone, please get them in touch with me, available for immediate occupancy. All items in the room are available for you to use (including a nice rollaway bed), except for the items on the shelving unit.

Looking for a roommate in West Asheville/Enka/Candler area (near Ingles and AB Tech campus in Enka).

I live in a 1400 sq. ft. apartment. I am offering a spacious bedroom with walk-in closet and a five-drawer chest of drawers you are welcome to use. It also has a nice desk if you want a private work space, but can relocate it for more space if you prefer. I also have a 3rd bedroom that I use as my music space, you are welcome to use it as well.

You will have your own bathroom with shower, toilet and large vanity/mirror/medicine cabinet. It is just outside the bedroom door.

I have a very spacious kitchen with all the supplies you will need, and an in-unit laundry room with a front-loading LG washer and dryer. Additionally, I have a 65“ TV with a very nice home theater system you are welcome to use. I also have valet trash service 5 days a week, so we don’t have to go to the dumpster.

I do have two cats. Would prefer you not have any other animals, as only 2 are allowed by lease as is. I work from home, but I go to my client’s homes for appointments, I do however go out a lot at night, so I’m usually not around that much.

I am asking $1000 a month which will include all utilities and I will take care of renter’s insurance. Please be able to provide at least 2 references from non-family members.

Lastly, I’m very liberal, no Trump supporters or conservatives, no homophobes/transphobes, no racists, etc. very ACAB as well. If you have a problem with any of that, then please do not respond. Also, I don’t have a problem with drugs, but you can’t smoke weed in the apartment. Please no cigarette smokers. Male/Female are both welcome. I have references about me if you want to check me out as well. I am 48 years old, and have had the same job for over 12 years.

I have lived here for over 5 years, I’m the first person to live in this apartment. They just keep increasing the rent to the point where I don’t feel comfortable paying for it by myself any longer. My friends all say the space is comically large for one person.

I am a 48 year old man, I have two cats. I have lived in this unit for 5 years, and was the first person to move into the unit. I have had the same job for over 12 years. I do have a partner who visits every so often, but I don’t tend to have too many guests. I play in a punk rock band, but don’t practice at this space. I work from home, but I do make in-house visits with my client, so I come and go.
