ROOM / AREA: Furnished room 10 ft x 13 ft available w/ full size bed, dresser, nightstand, floor lamp, TV, closet space. The main hallway bathroom would be yours since I have my own in my bedroom. Furnished common areas w large dining area and kitchen is stocked with everything to prepare and eat meals. There is a 2-car garage where the washer/dryer is as well as space for storing extra boxes. Fenced back yard with lots of area to garden plus a Traeger smoker/grill and a Weber-type barbecue to grill when weather permits. Air conditioning unit installed last year. Internet/wifi through Xfinity. Streaming channels include Netflix, HBOMax, Hulu, Peacock, and more. Ring camera security system. Couple blocks to I-84, bus, MAX., shopping, restaurants. Private driveway for parking & additional parking on street in a quiet, friendly neighborhood.

YOU: Seeking responsible, mature roommate with verifiable employment to share home with. Prevent or resolve issues through communication. Able to pay rent on time & respects privacy of others. Possibility for one short-haired cat; however, there’s a pet door that provides access to outdoors, so will not be a good fit for indoor-only cat. However, I do understand pets need time to acclimate into new spaces so I’m okay with closing the pet door temporarily to accommodate during this time Overnight guests are welcome on occasion, please no additional roommates gradually slipping their way in. Cannabis is totally fine, although I don’t partake myself. Harder substances/illegal drugs/excessive drinking is a huge deal breaker !! One of my job duties has to do with monitoring people if they appear heavily under the influence, so it’s important that I don’t bring my work home with me.

MOVE-IN COSTS: $1900 covers first & last months rent ($1600) & refundable security deposit ($300). You can either pay in full or you can split the last month rent and security deposit ($1100) into two equal installments due in addition to the monthly rent the first and second month of your occupancy. This means when you move out, your last month’s rent is already paid, then if you leave the space(s) in the same condition as when you moved in, you will receive all or part of your security deposit.

You’ll live with two females, one human and one dog who thinks she’s human. I work full-time for Multnomah County. I enjoy taking my 12-yr old dog for walks, cooking, watch occasional TV, and will attempt home improvement DIY projects here and there. I’m friendly, open-minded and social and respect others privacy and space but will engage in conversations if invited. Politics and religion do not consume me. I don’t smoke but don’t mind those who do it outside. I’m clean but not OCD about it. I hope to find someone who similarly picks up after themselves and will share with responsibilities around the house. Oh, I am the homeowner.
