Free rent+ additional compensation! Be a live-in caregiver for two young adults with moderate developmental challenges in exchange for a free place to live in a beautiful five-bedroom home.

The companion will have their own furnished room and bathroom and have full use of the common areas of the house and grounds. They will be expected to assist the adults with daily living skills.

Salary is $15k for the year. Additional hours of direct support for one or both young adults during the week and on weekends is available with compensation ($25-$30/hour), which is tax free if your permanent address is the home.

The roommates are two sweet young women with moderate developmental challenges.

They need support in a number of different activities including the following: -Supervising activities in the evening after dinner -Ensuring bedtime routines -Supporting individuals throughout the night if needed (both adults sleep through the night) -Overseeing morning routines -Including adults in planning, cooking, making healthy choices -Assisting adults to pack lunch on days needed -Ensuring proper weather-appropriate clothing is worn -Communicating with the support workers working with the two adults as well as their family members, especially in urgent situations -Participating in one weekly “team meeting”
