Cute 1926 Cape Cod in the safe and quiet neighborhood of Beaumont-Wilshire. The room is 10’x10’ and has a private entrance leading to the backyard. The backyard hosts a gorgeous redwood tree and covered patio. There is space for storage of your extra things/activities in a 2nd ground floor room near the bedroom. The full shared bath is adjacent to the bedroom. My house is 2.5 blocks north to Fremont Street and Pip’s Donuts…one of the most popular donut spots in town. Fremont hosts cafes, bars, shops, grocery and hardware store. One block south from the house is Alameda, a gorgeous winding scenic road that is a bike route, popular with runners and cyclists. I have 4 bus lines in walking distance (12, 24, 75, 71) and Hollywood max station is not far. The nearby Hollywood district features the amazing Hollywood Theater which shows independent, foreign, locally produced films and more. I have a detached garage with plenty of room for your bike(s). The house is furnished, including the bedroom but if you have stuff I can move things out and away to make space for your bedroom stuff. the living room and all other rooms are pretty much set for furnishings etc. the kitchen is stocked…with no limitations in dietary preferences in the kitchen. The bedroom has it’s own devoted flat screen tv with an amazon fire stick that you can log into to see all your apps and channels. the living room has a bigger smart tv with surround sound speakers. the fireplace is for decoration only and unfortunately is not for burning use. Household heat is forced central gas heat. There is no central AC. There is both a fan and a mini heater for the bedroom to help regulate your personal temps in your room that are not aligned with the household thermostat. my house stays pretty cool in the summertime due to the older construction and the large trees in the yard that provide shade. There are 4 large pine trees on each corner of my house. the bedroom however is sunny despite the shade. i have a gardening container that i had set up during the pandemic for extensive vegetable gardening. since then i’ve planted flowers there. i’d be happy to let you take that over to do whatever gardening project you like. the household is non smoking. i actually will sometimes smoke 420 but only do so outside. the backyard is very nice for hanging out under the covered patio and this is where smoking is permitted. i am allergic to animals so it’s strict that cats and dogs cannot live here…although i am a huge animal lover.

I am the owner of the house and the only other resident. I am a VERY clean and tidy person. Especially in shared spaces in respect to the others i share a house with. i will like a housemate to keep their shared spaces clean also. My biggest interests are: overseas travel, music festivals/burning man (of which i work at them), going to see live music, dancing, fitness (hiking, cycling, the gym, walking). I take public transportation often although i have a car and a van that is used for road trips and festivals. I’m an introvert! I don’t have a boyfriend and don’t often have friends over. I’m ok with guests coming over, within reason. I do go out sometimes but not usually super late. I have become more of a morning person and don’t really do late nights anymore. No problem if whoever i live with is on a different time schedule as long as we’re respectful of noise during the other’s sleeping times. I also really really appreciate open communication. If something seems weird, or suggestions to change, or if sounds are bothersome or if something needs commentary: these are conversations i encourage and ask for. I want to be able to bring up such topics and hope that the person i live with will also feel comfortable with open communication. I’m a cis female she/her and my social circles as well as my birth family members are very diverse of all types of orientations, etcs…
