Patti's room

A medium size room on second story of a duplex located near downtown Thousand Oaks. Bathroom is shared with female and kept considerately clean. Rent includes basic room renting privileges and we ask $100 towards utilities which is open to negotiation depending on tenant utility usage. There is some space for storing something like a bike. There is a backyard/patio for those that may like to be out in the morning with coffee or to hang in the evening. Kitchen has a microwave and refrigerator space is available. No microwave allowed in room. Parking is street parking, however there is space in driveway for a small car or motorcycle.

We are a mother, 62 working part time, finishing art degree at CSUN and son, 30, working professional, often working from home. We are a calm, quiet house, both of us pretty relaxed and don’t sweat the small stuff. We believe respect and being considerate of others helps with creating the peaceful environment in our house. There is no drama here and like to keep it that way. If you are a smoker, even an “outside only” smoker, please do not contact. There are two indoor/outdoor cats in residence, that are always in at night.
