Our apartment is a 2bd/1.5bath on the fifth floor of an elevator building in Morningside Heights. Laundry is in the basement. Most of the people in the building have lived here for years, and it’s truly a friendly place to live. Super convenient for Columbia students (my former roommate went to Barnard), we are 3 blocks from the 1 train, a short walk from the 110th Street B/C, and right next to several bus lines. There are great restaurants in the area, grocery stores, and a ton of coffee shops perfect for studying or work. The room itself is king-sized, incredibly quiet since it’s on the inside of the building, with high ceilings, wooden floors and a closet. My current roommate is open to selling her furniture to the subletter. The rest of the apartment is furnished, with a recently renovated kitchen and bathrooms.

Hi! My name is Aerin (she/her) and my cat Seven and I are looking for a summer roommate from June 1 to August 1st-15th. My current roommate is moving back home, and we’re on the search for someone to fill her room. I’m an upcoming psychology and English graduate at Fordham, as well as a nanny on the UWS. In my free time, I love to read, go to the farmers market, cook (and share :)), as well as listen to music.

Our ideal roommate would:

• Be a student or professional
• Not smoke
• Like cats, but not have one. Seven prefers to be the queen of the castle
• Fall somewhere around an 8 on the cleanliness scale
• Be kind, communicative, and passionate about whatever your field/goals are!
• Want to create a peaceful, cozy and friendly place to come home to at the end of the day!
