Sam's room

Hey im Sam 45 and Jessica 25🏳️‍🌈 and Briana 22. We are looking for a 4th Housemate… or couple ($750 for couple) Cannabis friendly is a must.. 😆 The house is in Orland Park. Right next to the mall. Room is furnished with a fan and closet. It’s temporary till July 1st. When I list this house for sale.

Basement also has room for a small amount of storage.

We are actively listing and selling everything in the house. I inherited the house from my parents. So some of the common areas are being utilized as work spaces. The kitchen is open as is the family room. The rest has boxes and furniture to be stored or sold.

The 1 and a half bathrooms (upstairs is a full, main floor is a half) are shared… I have my own.

There is a full kitchen: (stove, air fryer, toaster oven, instapot and rice cooker and a deep chest freezer and extra fridge in the laundry, all the pots and pans and utensils you could use and a dishwasher). No cable but excellent Wi-Fi… Washer and dryer in the laundry room. Driveway for your car. There are blink cameras on the property for security and a Alexa in the kitchen. Just an FYI the house hasn’t been updated really and is still very original but it is comfortable, safe and quiet and a 32 year family home.

The area has every place to shop or work you could want within a 5 to 10 min drive and almost any restaurant you could think of and a very nice movie theater. I55 and I80 and the train are a short distance as well. Plenty of work opportunities if you are looking.

*I will not be running any credit checks. But social accounts would be cool, so we can see who we are gonna room with. This is my first time doing this type of rental scenario.

*Chores are split between everyone. But please be responsible and clean and have common sense. And any help with the house would be appreciated. I’ve never moved before. So : )

**I do like to cook and do make house meals from time to time.

***Also there is a high end treadmill in house downstairs.

****Zero tolerance for any other drugs except cannabis.

I’m a 45 yo ambivert. Single no kids no pets. Smoker (both cigs and bud). A couple months from quitting as I have taken up vaping. But I roll my own so I’m just going thru the last of my supply. My smoking will be limited to my bedroom that has an exhaust fan always running. Or my own personal bathroom which also has an exhaust. I’ve been in small businesses for 30 yrs, restaurants and retail. Between my customer service and managing my workers… I know how to treat people, have a conversation, respect boundaries and personal space and just in general get along with and deal with people of all ages and backgrounds and ethnicities. Currently semi retired and working on settling this estate. So I’m home full time… Was a caregiver to ailing parents the past 5 years. Till 11 months ago. I’m Extremely kind, gentle, respectful and honest, def a big brother or mentor type, my “older sisters” call me their big brother! Mostly a homebody these days with the exception of family dinners and workouts.

SECOND ROOMMATE: Hey I’m Jessica, 25… Outgoing, passionate, dedicated and a hard working person. Working for myself and companies. Sam is a great respectful guy which makes me happy and feeling lucky I found this cozy place to call home for a moment. Sam is really intelligent and willing to share information from his life. And has a great extended family. We respect closed door policies and house rules. The place is huge, so we don’t have to hangout if you don’t want. We are packing up and cleaning the house while listing and selling everything. But there’s still plenty of house to enjoy 😄 We really want to find someone that is respectful, responsible and has good communication when its needed.

Third Roommate: Hi I’m Bri. I’m 21 just moved back from Minnesota. I’m friendly with a friendly Cat named Teddy and a older Chihuahua named Cheerios. They are mostly limited to my room and are very friendly. I’m cannabis friendly. I’m concentrating on work and bettering myself while here. I work a lot and won’t be home much but when I am, I like to relax and have no problem being social when I can.

*****Everyone is just concentrating on work and making money while here so the next step in our lives can go smoothly. People are working towards good apts in 6 months and cars… Just trying to get ready for the next phase of our lives. I say this cause I’m not trying to make a home anymore. So the normal things, with living with roommates isn’t a priority. Eat, Sleep, Pray…oh ya and the one they forgot in the book and movie… WORK…lol Your more then welcome to use anything in my house. It’s full and you won’t need anything to eat with or clean with…towels etc…
