Please note this is not a normal roommate arrangement. This arrangement is facilitated by Obi Helpers. I’m looking for a roommate who can assist a senior I’m working with for 12 hours a week. In exchange, they would get to live rent-free in the senior’s home. The tasks are simple and don’t require any training, like laundry and grocery shopping, and are all non-medical. The tasks are also flexible and you could do most of them in the evenings or mornings, so it wouldn’t have to conflict with work or studies.

In return, you’ll live in a fully furnished private room with all utilities, including Wi-Fi, covered. The senior is in good health, social, and easy-going—a pleasant living environment all around.

A $500 security deposit and a $295 initiation fee are required. All applications are done through Obi Helpers.

About the property: For security purposes, these are photos of a home similar to the senior’s but not the senior’s actual home.

Senior is in good health and very social. Lifting heavy objects like groceries and driving have just gotten harder.
