This is a 3 bedroom home with 2 available rooms. A double story basement, one story is wood panel included with a fireplace and its own bathroom (2 in total). A good sized kitchen and living area. A spacious backyard and front yard with a porch. Driveway for parking (Garages are owned by Homeowner & not available for use). A nice, calm area only a couple of minutes from Downtown Algonquin, right by the Fox River!

The beginning lease is Month to Month but can be extended by the Homeowner if no issues arise. No smoke is allowed inside the home. Please use the backyard or front yard. No alcohol or narcotics ever. No pets. All interested parties must have a job and no existing drug issues. The homeowner has final approval on anyone interested - a formal meetup is required.

I am 28 - an automation engineer working in Huntley from 7pm to 3am. Im an artist, musician and writer in my free time. My Fiancée is a cosmetologist and plans to turn the basement into a boutique at some point. We have a senior cat who stays in our room.

Im 27, Originally from Chicago, Grew up in the suburbs along the Fox River then lived in TX for 6 years before coming back home. Caro is from California, shes also lived in Utah, Oregon and moved to Illinois about 2 and a half years ago. I work somewhere between 8-12 hour shifts depending on the week - I may be pursuing a degree in Precision Engineering soon as well & Caroline works at the Salon for about 4 hours & studies cosmetology. When im home, I usually keep to myself and read books. Caroline likes to clean, do chores after shes done studying. We are movie buffs and love introducing people to new films. We have been in many room mate dynamics and prefer a friendly inclusiveness but enjoy our alone time as well. My cat Mustange is 14, hes getting up there in age and doesnt leave the room. He stays either under the bed or on top of it, doesnt scratch or damage anything - he really just sleeps. Hes not very social but also not aggressive or anything, just timid. People dont even believe I have a cat because hes like a ninja. When I find time, I like to write, make visual art, sometimes record music (all done through computer - no loud amps of disruptive sounds) Caroline likes to draw, do makeup, hair style, tattoo and such. We are both creatives so if you ever need a hand with something like that, we are in! We are team players and believe in forming a strong sense of community. We dont mind helping in areas that wont directly benefit us as long as respect is always maintained and conflict can be resolved through conversation and introspection.
