Hello everyone! I am looking for a new roommate beginning in November. Total home SF is 2,150 and all common areas will be shared with me (female). Located in a neighborhood in Southpark with easy access to providence road and uptown. I have one room available to rent with access to the hallway bathroom for your private use. The room is $800, approximately 120 SF. It is furnished with a bed, nightstands and dresser. I can also provide linens and towels so all you need to bring is your clothes and toiletries if you like. I have a second room that is unfurnished space if you prefer to bring your own bedroom furniture. There is no room for other furniture in the house so this is best for someone just starting out or someone transitioning to the area. I am a professional and like to keep things tidy. The room is available November 1, 2023 although I am in no rush and want to find the right roommate. Rent is $800 per month. Rent includes: -Fully stocked kitchen and furnished common areas. -W/D available for your use, just bring your own detergents -High speed internet/WIFI -All utilities, -Common areas and the bathrooms are professionally cleaned biweekly.

Other Details:

• No pets refers to cats/dogs but I do have backyard chickens so you need to be an animal lover and I am open to smaller pets such as birds or fish.
• Room is for ONE person only.
• Must pass credit and background check
• Deposit is $800 and is refundable upon leaving the room in good, clean condition.
• No smoking
• Not a party environment. I am an older professional and I am looking for someone with a diurnal work schedule that aligns with my own. No night owls.
• COVID and Flu vaccination is required as I am taking a medication that depresses immune function.
• Showing times by appointment.
• Deposit due to secure room.

I am a 51 year old, single female. Definitely a homebody who loves to cook, garden and learn new things. I am looking for a roommate to help with costs so we can both do more with our money. Personally, I would like to save more, pay off some bills, and tackle some larger improvement projects here at home. I work as a therapist, and often will work from home. I am clean but not obsessive. I am a social introvert so I will enjoy having conversations with you but I won’t intrude when you want privacy. I’m pretty quiet and appreciate someone who also likes peace and calm. That being said, I occasionally like to listen to music and sing along while I work on a project but I am careful to do this when it won’t disturb my roommate. My typical schedule is to be up by 7:00 and in bed by 10:30-11:00 and prefer a roommate who keeps a similar schedule. Maybe this is you. If so, let’s chat!
