About the room

This is a private en-suite master bedroom/bathroom within a three bedroom/two bathroom apartment. Individual males are welcome. Overnight guests and pets (except for dogs) are allowed.

A vacant three bedroom/two bathroom apartment in this complex would have a total rent of $3,175 and a total security deposit of $1,500; but because this apartment has an old lease, has a rate locked rent, and was never fully vacated since the lease was created, the total security deposit for all roommates combined is $1,000 and the total rent has been $2,855 since October 1st when the lease renewed. Internet (with our current 500 Mbps Cox plan) is $55.08 in total. Utilities, which only includes electricity and not water or gas, and has a 30% CARE discount, are on average $90 in total per month. These bills will be split evenly amongst all roommates.

The apartment is 1,200 sq. ft. and has a spacious dining area and kitchen with a large amount of storage room. It also has a large living room with more than enough room for a couch, T.V., or other things if you desire to bring them and/or obtain them afterwards.

The apartment complex was constructed in 1980. There is an onsite laundry facility that is very close to the unit you would be occupying. The washers and dryers both cost $2.00 to use (except for the power wash setting on the washers which costs $2.25) and also use the Wash Connect app. You can extend the time on the dryer by six minutes for only $0.25, in which multiple loads of laundry can be dried with one extended cycle by swapping loads mid-cycle, at a much lower cost than giving each load it’s own non-extended cycle. There is one parking spot for the entire apartment but I do not personally use it. It will be shared between you and the couple occupying the other smaller bedroom other than the one I am occupying. Cannabis consumption is allowed inside of the apartment but not outside in or near the apartment complex.

The neighborhood is safe and located near Santee Lakes. There is a 7-Eleven, Giant Pizza King, coffee shop, taco shop, and a farmer’s market that occurs every Wednesday that are within a short walking distance from the complex. Mission Gorge Rd is 1.2 miles away and features a multitude of restaurants, stores, and other establishments, and also leads to the Santee Town Center.

About the roomies

The apartment will be shared with my girlfriend and I plus our other roommate who is occupying the other smaller bedroom. We don’t have any out of the ordinary rules or guidelines, I just ask that you enact basic decency and common sense.
