It is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath (sink, toilet, shower) basement apartment with a private entrance. Large living area and full kitchen (stove/oven, sink, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher). There is also a storage room off the bathroom with an in-unit washer and dryer. Street parking is available with access to the backyard from the private entrance (just down a paved path from the front door). You also have your own independent breaker from the rest of the house so if the power goes out, or you blow a fuse, you should be able to deal with it from downstairs. The layout is super weird and it has some quirks but it’s homey, I’ve loved being here and it was honestly such a good deal for us.

We’re within walking distance of Safeway and QFC, and about 10 minutes from Bellevue College.

Month-to-month signed lease, willing to do longer if that works out for you. Rent: $1100 Utilities: varies, generally about $100-$150 per month per person (however, we do take into consideration certain things, such as who is using heating when, are people taking a million showers?)

Pets and couples are on a let’s talk about it basis, the landlord technically said no more pets, but if you’re a good person who’s chill and wants to communicate with me, let’s talk about it. And he said nothing about couples so I’m taking that to my advantage (rent would not cost extra, just more utilities).

Weed/smoking is fine but not in the apartment please, I will know because I smoke weed too.

Hi all! My name is Karlee and I am looking for someone to sublease a basement apartment. My boyfriend and I have been here for about a year now, and we are moving upstairs to the primary house.

You will be joining two couples who live on separate floors in the main house, we’re down to hang out and form a friendship but we’re also good with saying “good morning” and moving about our day. We’re pretty quiet individuals, if at any point anyone is too loud, shoot a text and we’ll quiet down. The four of us have similar work schedules, generally leave in the morning and are back before 6pm. I also had some plans for doing some DIYing down here before our circumstances changed, so if you’d like any help completing those projects I’d be down to do them with you. There is also a garden bed that I use during the spring and summer, if you’re a gardener we can share it!
