ISO Roommate!! LGBTQ+ home has a room opening for rent. About the roommates: a working professional queer couple with the sweetest baby four-year-old golden retriever. Looking for a clean, non-binary, or female roommate to cohabitate with.

About the room: The room is situated just off the upstairs hallway near the full bath. It is spacious with plenty of space for a queen bed, desk, bookshelf, and dresser. There are two large beautiful windows that let in some great light. The closet is very spacious. Kitchen and living room upstairs. It is the only bedroom upstairs, the couple lives downstairs. Three shared closets upstairs; one coat closet, one food, one misc. Big backyard! The living areas will remain furnished as is, but open to discussion, especially concerning wall space for art. Electric stove/oven and big fridge/freezer. There is a large backyard with a fire pit, chairs, and garden boxes. It is located in Upper Ballard minutes away from Trader Joe’s, T&C, Metro Mart, the Locks, and Golden Gardens.

Accessibility: to get to the door from the sidewalk is four stairs to landing and five stairs to the front door. Backyard can be accessed by a gate from the front or flight of steps by back door. 420 friendly but can be done outdoors if wanted.

Guests: are more than welcome! Many art nights and dinner parties are held in this space, the size makes great for hosting. Not comfortable with ragers, but the occasional 10 person party is fine.

Room is available with bed frame, brand new mattress (bought 4 months ago brand new), rug, nightstand, and table I’ve been using for my books and plants. The bed frame and mattress were purchased for $515 and can be yours for $400. Two end tables and a rug bought for $150, can be yours for $75.

Room will be open to move into November 3rd and the lease goes through the end of May. Rent is $1100 a month with a $1100 deposit to move in, which will be refunded at the end of the lease at the rental company’s discretion.

Your two roomies are a queer working couple. One (23) is a nurse who loves running, cycling, art, the outdoors, and baking. The other (27) works in marketing and travels to Bellingham 3 days a week for work and loves music, art, the outdoors, cooking, dogs, and spending time with friends!
