Erin's room

This is a room in a two-bedroom apartment within walking distance of all of Brookside and the River Park Trail, and within biking distance of the Gathering Place. This quiet apartment complex has a pool and a laundry house, and garbage and water are included in the rent.

The apartment has a microwave, refrigerator with freezer, and an oven with electric burners. The rest of the appliances, such as the coffee pot, rice cooker, and more, and big furniture, such as the dining table, recliner, etc. belong to me. I do not currently own a tv. The room for rent (see pictures) includes a desk, dresser, closet, bookshelf, night stand, and (soon) a twin sized bed and mattress.

The deposit is a $50 application fee to the apartment. With bills (internet and electricity) + rent, the total price flexes between $460-$490 per month.

I and my previous roommate moved in together post-college 4 years ago, and now she is moving out for a job in her hometown of OKC. I love the area and the cheap rent, so I’m staying put.

About me: 30F. I work from home fulltime M-F, but when the clock hits 5pm, I’m usually out of the apartment to the gym or out for a run. I love reading–there are four bookshelves in the apartment. I cook often, and I’m happy to talk and share my things. I’m also happy to split the costs of shared items, like cleaning products, toilet paper, and flour. I have a cat (Ida). I’m looking for a roommate so I can save money at a faster rate.
