Hello! I’m looking for a new roommate starting January 7th for a 1 yr lease! Moving date flexible.

About the apartment: I currently lease a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment in the Landmark/West End neighborhood of Alexandria. My roommate is moving out to live with her boyfriend, so you would have your own bathroom and bedroom with a walk-in closet. The apartment kitchen has stainless steel appliances and a stone countertop. We also control our own A/C and heating! The building allows pets for an extra fee. We get a bunch of natural light (great for plants). Flooring is laminate in common areas, carpet in the bedrooms, and tile in the bathrooms. The bathroom has a shower/tub combo. Washer and dryer are in-unit. The complex has 2 gyms, 2 pools, and garage parking as well.

Added bonus is the apartment is walking distance from a bunch of restaurants and within a 5 minute drive to a great little park (and farmers market)!

Rent: $2480 - split 2 ways so $1240 each. Utilities, parking, and internet not included.

I am 25 and work from home at an NGO. Since I’m home most of the week, I spend most weekends out with my family who live in the area. I don’t have any pets but love dogs (mild cat allergy). My favorite things to do are to try new restaurants and generally explore the area. Despite growing up in northern Virginia, I feel like there are always new things to do. I consider myself an introvert, and I’m not one for going out or hosting parties. I do have the occasional friend come over for a night in. Looking for a roommate with a similar-ish vibe!
