I have a small tiny home (14’ x 11.5’) behind my house. It has carpet, air and heat, and electricity but not water. Small fridge and microwave included. Private entrance as well.

Please note this is under 200 square feet and only appropriate for 1 person. No pets.

Currently unfurnished. But I can furnish (bed, desk, chair, table, and TV) for an extra $100/month. That would also include access to the nearby hot tub (and the pool when in season).

Access to the main house for bath, shower, and kitchen (but we’ll need to coordinate cooking). Large horseshoe driveway, so plenty of free, non-street parking.

The door to your room does lock and a key would be provided to you.

Month-to-month unless you prefer a 6-month (or longer) lease.

$30 application fee due upon applying to cover the background check.

Security deposit of $650 due at the time of signing the agreement. Rent due on the 1st of each month, and considered late on or after the 5th (late fee of $10/day deducted from security deposit).

I (single dad) live here full-time with 2 of my kids and my 3rd kid every other week. We have 4 dogs (mostly in the main house) and 5 cats (mostly outdoor).

Because of the kids, I would require a background check first, so if you have any major credit issues, misdemeanor or felony convictions, make sure to mention that in our first conversation. Those don’t have to be deal-breakers, but lying about them would be.
