Alice's room

Located five minutes from Westerville and New Albany, this location is amazing. It feels rural, surrounded by large lots and parkland, however it is a quick drive to the most desirable shopping and dining areas in the Columbus Region. It is also just 15 minutes from Johnstown and the Intel development. Great roads for cycling and running are just outside the front door!

The room is a large guest suite with three windows, a provided queen bed, desk and dresser, a walk-in closet, double sink vanity, and a bathroom with a shower and small tub. The room is large and has a walk-in closet.

The entrance nearest the guest room is seldom used, and could be considered a semi-private entrance. You’ll also have access to the kitchen and common areas, including living room, dining room, TV room, sunroom, and basement (with treadmill).

I am an active member of the Central Ohio community, and a business owner. My children are grown. I live with my significant other, and we enjoy nature and recreational time together, when not working. I am an experienced landlord and I’ve become interested in the short-term rental market with my own private home, as I’ve studied more about the scarcity of housing for professionals coming to Central Ohio. I have an active lifestyle and I love this home location as a starting point for runs and bike rides.

I’m pretty quiet, but my partner and I both work from home frequently. We aren’t big TV watchers, but do occasionally play music upstairs, or sit outside, or make ourselves breakfast and eat out at the picnic table or in the sunroom.

We have great neighbors on both sides, and the neighborhood is extremely safe. We do have an alarm system, but currently only turn it on if we are going out of town. We can coordinate on this.

I’m a big believer that anything can be resolved in communication. My partner and I are both kind and understanding people, prone to coming up with imaginative solutions to any challenge!
