About the room
The picture shown was taken before the fireplace, other furnishings and carpet was put in. This is a nice room. It has 3 windows and is in the lower level. It is 34’L x 15’W with nice carpeting. It is cool in the summer and feels cozy with a large electric fireplace / TV and book shelf at one end. The bed is a twin. Very comfortable. Washer/Dryer available. Small refrigerator, microwave, and toaster in the room. The backyard is a nice place to be on pleasant evenings. Parking is off street on one side of my driveway. The room is meant for 1 person.
About the roomies
I own the home and live here with my dog Dakota. I moved from Wisconsin recently where I was active in silent sports (canoeing rivers, some quiet water and others with class II,III rapids, x-country skiing, snowshoeing, gardening. I am a Wisconsin Traditional Archer and will go to Wisconsin based shoots anytime I am able. My dog is a French Brittany. Presently, we use this nice long (34 feet) downstairs room for her to play fetch in when it is nasty outdoors. But we will gladly give that up if we can find someone who is responsible, pleasant, and at a point in their life that sharing someone else’s home is good timing for them. (on the side, I do support Joe Biden, Hakeem Jeffries (Democrat leader in the US House of Representatives), and I like friends who believe kindness is important.
