Wanting to find a roommate to renew my lease in my great 2bd/2ba in the TheSix13 apartment building. The apartment building is still quite new (built 3 years ago I think) and has a lot of amenities - gym, pool, spacious rooftop with projector and grills, game room, and common workspace. The building feels safe and is clean and the community is great. The room would be unfurnished and the room is technically the master bedroom with a walk in closet. Roomie must be cat friendly! :) My cat’s are also quite friendly and I keep the apartment as clean as possible with them in mind. I like to keep the apartment cozy and most of the furniture in the common spaces is mine and will be staying, but we can always work things out if you have stuff to bring as well. There is a parking garage but I do have a car and there’s 1 free space given per apartment, so I think additional cars would need to pay a fee. Internet is included in rent but FPL electric is not and is usually another $60. The building also requires us to get renter’s insurance for the year, which is an additional $95 each. Application fee is $250 and one-time building fee is $350 in addition to the security deposit. The apartment itself is really nice (988 sq.ft.) - we have nice appliances, a cool kitchen island, LARGE windows, a balcony overlooking Sistrunk Blvd, in-unit washer and dryer, central a/c, and much more. My name is Najia! I am a 30 year old paralegal working for a non-profit organization. I have two cats! In my free time I enjoy swimming, reading, making pottery, and traveling. Personality wise, I think I’m pretty kind, considerate, open-minded, and communicative while also having a fun goofy and adventurous side. Sadly, my roommate and friend for the past year is moving to Chicago and I’d hate to give up our amazing light-filled, top floor corner apartment in the luxury Six13 building. I’d love to have a friendly roommate relationship where we feel comfortable to hangout out and watch tv sometimes, hit the beach, or go to yoga or anything! I also totally understand the need for solo down time so would be respectful of that. I’m mindful of cleanliness and responsible with paying bills on time and I’d love to find someone who is similarly minded. I work from home M-F 9-5 and either work in my room or in the common workspace downstairs. I don’t have a live-in partner and don’t “bring the party home”. In the evenings, you’ll find me at the gym, at the pottery studio, or studying for the LSAT. I’m a homebody and love to spend time with the cats, but also like to keep active on the weekends, so I’ll usually be out and about more then.
