About the room
A Sunny Room to Call Home — East Petaluma | $1,100/month, utilities & cleaning included
I’m looking for a kind, easygoing person to share my comfortable, well-cared-for home in East Petaluma. It’s a peaceful shared house for up to four people, and I’d love to find someone who fits right in.
We’re tucked into the Adobe neighborhood near Lucchesi Park, with Lynch Creek and its walking trail just across the street — a lovely spot for morning strolls. The Petaluma Farmers’ Market is a easy 10-minute walk (every Tuesday), and Trader Joe’s and Starbucks are a quick five minutes away by car.
Your Room & the Home A bright, light-filled bedroom with room for a queen bed, dresser, nightstand, and closet Shared bathroom
A fully equipped kitchen — gas stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, and plenty of fridge space In-unit washer and dryer
$1,100/month covers everything: PG&E, water, garbage, recycling, and internet, plus regular cleaning of the kitchen and common areas
The Feel of the Place This is a calm, welcoming home built around peace and quiet enjoyment. It’s smoke-free and substance-free, with light, moderate alcohol use only. The folks here now are mostly in their 30s to 50s, but warm, considerate people of any age are genuinely welcome.
You Might Love It Here If You’re settled and financially steady, naturally tidy, and at ease with yourself. You enjoy a friendly, harmonious home with a little laughter in it, and you value calm over chaos. Sound Like Home? If this feels like a fit, I’d love to hear from you — a bit about who you are, what keeps you busy, and what you’re hoping to find in a place to live. The room is open as of June 10th. Thanks so much for reading, and I look forward to hearing from you.
About the roomies
Ideal for someone who enjoys a quiet and relaxing home environment. You’ll share a four-bedroom, three-bathroom, 2.1K sqft home built in the mid-1980s with three other housemates and a cat or two. While the house is not contemporary, it’s not too old either. The collective here is pretty loose-knit, made up of working professionals. The current makeup is in the 30 to 50 age range, but people outside of that range are also welcome. Some housemates you’ll bump into every day, and others you’ll seldom see. The master tenant/property manager lives on-site. The property is well-maintained, and issues are usually addressed quickly.
