Come live in the tranquil beauty of Fairview, NC. Only 13 miles from Asheville, this house boasts a stellar view from the front porch and al fresco dining on the back patio. This is a large two bedroom, one bath house. I am renting this room for 6-months for $800 per month starting in January, 2024. The security deposit is $800. Potentially, there will an option to renew at the end of the 6-month period. Rent includes internet and utilities. The house is fully furnished and the kitchen is stocked with all the tools needed for cooking. Depending on your needs some furnishings could be provided or you are welcome to to furnish the room yourself. The house has central air conditioning/heating, a washer/dryer, a bathtub, and parking for one additional vehicle. The house rests in a beautiful forest surrounded by hiking trails and waterfalls all just a few steps outside the door. The Hickory Nut Farm Store is about a 1/4 mile away and Flying Cloud Farm about 1 mile.

I am looking for another professional or responsible graduate student to share the home with me who is also relatively quiet, tidy, and clean. I prefer to rent to a health conscious, positively minded person who works outside of the house. I am not looking to rent to a couple. I intend to keep the living area television-free but please feel welcome to watch in your room. A little drinking is fine but if you are a pot user I would prefer for you to do it outside. I would consider a well-behaved cat or a small dog (minimal barking) after meeting them. A pet deposit would need to be negotiated with the landlord.

This house affords me the perfect opportunity to connect with the land around me. I enjoy having friends over for dinner on occasion but for the most part I live a relatively quiet lifestyle. I like to cook, do yoga, hike, travel, go dancing, read, and relax. My home is my sanctuary and I keep it aesthetically pleasing, tidy and clean. I don’t drink too much at home unless I am entertaining.
