About the room
Hello, I live in the beautiful Edgewater condos, right on the lake side. Here is a link, it’ll have a better description and photos than I can come up with lol https://www.edgewaterseattle.com/ It’s giving cottage core whimsy
This neighborhood is very safe, we are surrounded by rich old people and gated communities. There are many restaurants and places to go nearby. Including the arboretum and lake Washington. There is a parking lot and street parking. You’ll have the bigger room, bigger closet, two windows, and your own radiator. The room is a lot bigger than it looks in photos. You could fit 3 queen beds and 2 couches in there. My last roommate left some furniture behind, but it can be removed if need be. Bills aren’t too bad, internet is $15 each, electric and utilities are usually around $50-$100 each. Application fee is $75, kinda lame but I promise it’s worth it. They’ll run a background check, and rental history. The landlords are nice older women, you will pay them your half of rent directly. Our neighbors are an older woman who’s mostly deaf, and a flight attended whos rarely home. Entrance door needs a code, we are on the second floor. Living room is lacking furniture/decor but I’m working on it. Lots of storage room throughout apartment. On-site quarter laundry. Landlords offer quarter exchange in their office. Room is technically month to month. But you need to give a 20 day notice before you leave, or you’ll be forced to pay for the next months rent.
About the roomies
My name is Lauren, I am 29, I work as a full time nanny. I’m hardly home and when I am I’m either chilling or sleeping. I am a creative type, extroverted introvert with adhd. If you want to be friendly, cool, if you want space, rad. I go with the flow. I know having a roommate can be tough at times, so communication is necessary. The only things that really bother me is leaving the place a mess, or having random people over all the time. Def not a party house.
