About the room

**Available October 1st **

This listing is for one bedroom, not the entire house.

Beautiful bedroom and dedicated en suite bathroom for rent. Washer and dryer included, wood floors, and lots of windows for natural light. The washer and dryer room is conveniently located next to the bedroom.

Includes full access to anything in the common areas such as front and back porches, living room, kitchen etc. The property is walking distance to restaurants and shops in the Nations area and no more than 3 or 4 miles from Downtown Nashville. Hoping to have someone who does not work from home and prefer no pets.

A bit about us: we are two single women in our 30s looking for an awesome third roommate to join us. My current roommate is a pharmacologist at Vanderbilt and I work in advertising as a commercial photographer.

We keep a pretty chill environment at home—we’re both sociable but keep mostly to ourselves as we work different schedules. We love living together and catching up in passing when we’re both in common areas.

Please reach out with any questions about us or the house. we’re looking forward to finding a roommate that fits right in!

Looking for someone to move in around October 1st – please message me if interested!

About the roomies

Hi! We are two girls in our 30s and love living in the Nations. Jasmine works in a chiropractic office and I work as an advertising photographer. We love living together–I have been in this house for about 4 years and Jasmine moved in a couple of months ago. Rent of course includes full access to any amenities. Due to our different working schedules we are rarely in the common areas at the same time but enjoy chatting in the evenings when our paths cross.

Jasmine cooks a little bit and I don’t step foot in the kitchen unless some cookies just popped out of the oven, so she (and maybe you) will be able to use that area without having to worry about crowding.

The room for rent is large with quite a bit of natural light, walk in closet, and shower with a tub. The room is also located right next to the washer and dryer and is the room that the wifi gear is located in so it has the best wifi signal in the house. Rent includes a spot in the garage if you prefer that over parking on the street. I like parking on the street because I look forward to checking the mailbox hoping someone has sent me an unexpected gift but am slowly coming to the terms that it’s mostly bills with an occasional random item that I didn’t know I needed from my mom (like dry shampoo, fancy socks, or, my personal favorite, an ice scraper in an area where we get an occasional dusting of snow and little ice. Plus I have no idea how the hell to even use one). #moms.

The neighborhood is quiet and safe; I used to have my car broken into regularly at the last place I lived in Wedgewood Houston and, in the four years I’ve been here, we’ve never had an issue or heard of anyone in the neighborhood having one. The Nations is home to a range of different types of people–from singles (like us) to a few quiet college kids and young families. Lots of dog walkers and joggers (no thanks) in the area.

The Nations is continuing to grow its local vibe with new bars and restaurants popping up every few months along the 10 blocks that 51st stretches. The house is also about a mile from Frothy Monkey (my favorite) and seemingly no more than 15 minutes from anywhere in the city, including east Nashville. I love living here and would have a hard time imagining leaving.

We are responsible, have consistent sources of income, and considerate of each other and the common areas. We value kind but direct communication so that tensions don’t build over the occasional dish left in the sink or (in my case) the once-a-month box of leftovers that dies a slow death in the fridge.

We are looking forward to finding a 3rd roommate who is fun, responsible, and easygoing like us (We also love a good sense of humor). :)

Please reach out if you think this could be a fit for you. Looking forward to connecting and giving you a tour of the space we love.
