Scot's room

The room is on the ground floor, has a private bathroom with a large tile shower. This ensuite has good natural light (two windows in bedroom, one in your private hallway, and one in the bathroom). House is pretty large, has a nice backyard, and is only a mile from the beach. It’s a quiet, family-oriented neighborhood. You will have access to a large swimming pool, hot tub, and a fitness room within the HOA. If you have a car, you can park in the driveway. Walking distance to shopping centers (Home Depot, Staples, Ross, HomeGoods, Costco, Target, Albertsons, CVS, etc.). You’ll have your own fridge and freezer. We’ll share everything else kitchen-wise.

Side note: I’m planning to re-do the caulking in the shower this fall, but can do it before you move-in if you desire. Layout of and furniture within the bedroom can be adjusted if you prefer (I have a newer, modern bed, with a brand new good quality mattress and good quality pillows); the one pictured will be removed before you move in. Any other concerns, let me know what you’re thinking and we can figure it out.

Professional male (age 53) living upstairs (works from home). Loves to play outside (hikes regularly), listen to music inside (rock, electronic, jazz, blues, dance), watch movies (everything from wes anderson to marvel), design (I work as a product designer, former graphic designer; studied sculpture), and, of course, enjoy good food and drink!

I’m left-leaning politically, a bit of an atheist, aren’t bothered by people specifying their pronouns (consider myself an ally), but am extremely bothered by people treating the world as their ashtray.
