This plant and pet filled home is conveniently located just north of downtown Wichita in the historic midtown neighborhood. It’s perfect for a quick visit for a conference or for a longer stint while working at Ascension via Christie or Wesley. We are centrally located, making it easy to get anywhere in Wichita. We are also walking distance to Riverside Park, Botanica Gardens, the Keeper of the Plains as well as the museums. Minutes from Old Town & other attractions.

This listing is for the furnished first floor bedroom with its own private bathroom off the dining room and the kitchen. Longer stays are welcomed. Weekly and monthly stays are discounted accordingly. Housebroken dog and cat-friend friendly pets with good references are welcome for an additional fee. A pet gate can be provided for your bedroom if desired.

You have access to the kitchen, dining and living rooms and basement (laundry room) as well as the backyard which is accessible through the kitchen doors which open to the back porch and patio area as well as one smaller fenced yard and the larger yard which includes the driveway to the back carport, garage and back alley.

I’m in school full time mostly remotely so I am generally around.

I have a very large dog, Jasper, who is very sweet and affectionate, but who can be overwhelming, so I endeavor to have him with me or secured if I’m unable to greet you and introduce you. He loves other dogs and my cats, so with a proper introduction I am happy to consider your pets. The house also is home to my five indoor cats ranging from 2 -16 years of age: Yoda, Will, Sugar, Spaulding and Coco. Some of them are quite friendly and may visit you as well.

There is also a feral kitty who lives outside on the front porch, and under the house who I call Luna/Luke. S/he gets fed outdoors, and stays outside.

I’m a full time medical student at the Kansas College of Osteopathic Medicine. I live on the 2nd floor and rent the first floor bedroom and bathroom to traveling nurses and other medical students. We all have different schedules and mostly keep to ourselves. I’m around most of the time, attending classes remotely or going to campus for labs. I share my home with five cats and a large, very affectionate dog named Jasper. I’m happy to consider your pet as well with a pet deposit. Jasper loves other dogs.
