The house was built in 1914, but was entirely rewired and replumbed by a prior owner. It has a happy vibe and plenty of natural light. The welcoming front porch with glider and rocking chairs is nice for a drink after dinner or a lazy morning. The living room has comfy seating and a 60“ TV, an optimal space for binge-watching your favorite shows. When I am home, sharing the common areas with you, there are a friendly cat and friendly large breed dog to add to the good vibes. I won’t however, bother you. Clean up after yourself daily in the kitchen and shared spaces, weekly in your private spaces. Bring a piece of artwork or a print or two and put them up in your private spaces with 3M Command removable strips. I’ve left the private spaces neutral so that you can bring things to make it your own for the time you’re there. :) If you determine that you need room-darkening window coverings, I will add those. There is a (shared) half-bathroom on the shared main level.
The kitchen includes an air fryer which is great for reheating food without using the bigger oven. Oven and cooktop are natural gas. My cookware is shared. Microwave and blender are included. We are 1/2 block from the Greenway path which runs along the Susquehanna River. Bring your bicycle or skates or just walk the pathway along the river. My total utiilities per month are over $500 for gas/electric/water/internet/cable. This works out to about $750/mo and half of utilities per month in the monthly rental. Any major increase in utilities will be your responsibility (pay-per-view shows, leaving water on, extreme electricity use). Laundry is on 2nd floor - extra large newer washer and dryer. I provide cleaning products, laundry detergent, softener, and more than enough paper products for arrival. I will leave you to yourself as much as you would like. The house is big enough to allow that, small enough to be comfy. A dog considered on case by case basis. My cat likes being an only cat.
