Stocker Street

I’m looking for a roommate to move into a 2 bed 2 bath unit I currently occupy in Glendale. I’ve been living here for a year and love it, but my roommate needs to move out of state when our lease is up at the end of October and ideally, I would continue living here.

For the bedrooms, one has an en suite bathroom and is bigger, and the other gets a lot of natural light and has a personal bathroom next to it in the hallway. Total rent for this unit is $2765, but that does include fees we were paying for garage parking ($50 per space, currently occupying 2 spaces) and for two cats ($30/mo per cat), so if you don’t have a cat and/or don’t want a parking space your portion of the rent would be less. My current roommate and I have been splitting it up $1415 for the bigger room with an en suite bathroom and $1350 for the smaller room with a hallway bathroom. I prefer to occupy the bigger room, but I’m open to discussion and swapping.

The unit is on the top of a gated two-story building and is the most frontward facing (large living room window and skylight offers A LOT of natural light!) It’s near the Americana/Glendale Galleria and is walking distance to a Starbucks. There is shared laundry, but it’s only one washer and dryer each. I’ve had no issues working with this setup, but there is a laundromat on the same block of the apartment if needed. The neighborhood is very walkable, friendly, and safe.

My roommate that’s moving out worked from home and kept her desk in the shared living room, so I wouldn’t have any issue with someone who worked from home and needed the space for an office. I do own a cat and I’m fine with another cat, but please no other pets.

Some info about me is I work full time managing a retail store in East LA. I’ve recently become a soccer fan and have season tickets to Angel City FC and also enjoy going to LAFC games. My cat, Jan, is very personable and friendly. I love to bake, especially during the holidays, and my guilty pleasure is binge watching trashy reality shows and CW dramas.
