Large bedroom with two closets and private bathroom. Common areas include a nice patio, laundry area, living room, kitchen. Parking for one vehicle allowed under carport. Quiet neighborhood with great neighbors, centrally located in Baton Rouge in Broadmoor. Good area if you like to go walking or running for exercise. Home is quiet and must stay that way. Rent includes the utilities: electricity, gas, sewer, water, trash collection, cable TV, wifi. Cable TV just went up again, so I might be dropping that soon, and looking at other options. Pets considered on an individual basis, and with additional deposit. No overnight visitors without owner’s permission, no smoking, vaping, street drugs, firearms or anything illegal in house. This room is furnished with queen size bed with pillowtop mattress, dresser, chest of drawers, nightstand, and TV. You should have a day job, sleep at night, clean up after yourself, and be quiet and considerate of others living in the home. Background check required. Please inquire for house rules. Rent could be less for the right person who is sober and established in recovery and willing to help clean/maintain the place. Great opportunity for someone in recovery wanting to live with someone likeminded. Not a formal sober living place but highly geared to that way of life, which is reflected in the house rules. I’m a quiet, widowed senior Christian male with long term sobriety. I’m a retired professional, but I do volunteer work a good bit, and writing a book which I work on during the day a few days per week. Very few visitors. Sleep at night, work during the day. Because this is a recovery-oriented place, I prefer a roomie who is established in recovery, but open to others if you’re a good fit.
