The unit/room: The size of the bedroom is ten feet, three inches by eleven feet, four inches. Whole unit is 894 sqft. You’ll have your own separate detached bathroom. You’ll also have direct access to the balcony. I never use it so it’s all yours to do what you want with it. Maintenance is lightning quick and the customer service here is excellent. Unit is on the 3rd floor. Utilities run anywhere from $100-$150/person. That includes internet/water/electricity

Location: Simply incredible. The apartment is a five minute walk to the Metro Rail train which will take you directly to major areas around town. Bus stop is even closer that goes directly to campus. Downtown, UT, Domain, and East side are all a ten to twelve minute drive. Walgreens is our neighbor if you’re ever in a pinch. There’s an awesome organic foods store across the street. LA Fitness and Planet Fitness are both 6 minutes away if you prefer not to use the apartment fitness center. HEB is also six minutes down the road. We do have two pools at the complex that are maintained regularly and honestly are hardly ever busy, so if you’re someone who likes to soak up the sun, you can do it without much fuss and relax.

About me: I’m 29 and work as a project manager in fitness during the day (hybrid role). So I WFH during the day twice a week. I also work as a college consultant so I WFH during traditional student hours (4p-8p) during a few weekday evenings and some weekend hours now and again.

When I’m home, I’m all about creating a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Usually, I’ll wind down with a good TV show or movie. Also enjoy watching sports. I like to stay active (gym, pickeball, bowling). I’m always up for checking out a new spot in town or grabbing a drink as well.

As for shared spaces, I believe in keeping things clean, especially the kitchen. I try to wash my dishes right after use so that whenever you want to use the kitchen, you have a clean space to cook in. I rarely have guests over, and I’ll always check in with you first if I do. I’d just appreciate the same in return. Nothing is perfect, and my main thing is just to communicate. We’re all just trying to make it work, so let’s help each other out.
