We’re looking to rent our guest bedroom to someone (couples are possible) for a minimum of 8 weeks ($250 for rent is due weekly). If you need longer than that, that’s great!

The bedroom is freshly washed and painted, it has a decent sized window and a long closet that easily accommodates two people. You have your own large bathroom that is located in the hallway directly across from your room. We have a queen bed in the room and 2 large nightstands.

We bought new sheets, pillows, comforters, towels, etc for the last couple who stayed with us, and they took them with them. They were of high quality and very expensive, so we will not be doing this again. You will need to purchase these items for yourself.

Your bedroom and bathroom is on the opposite side of the house from our bedroom and bathroom, separated by the living room and kitchen. So essentially we each have our own side of the home.

Our home is located in a quiet, family oriented neighborhood that is central to everything (publix, bus stops, Blake hospital, Walmart, multiple fast food joints/restaurants, beach, gyms, etc are a 5-10m drive & we are 15m from downtown and Anna Maria Island).

My boyfriend is 37 and I’m 31. We both work from home, and have two lazy cats that are very sweet and shy. One basically lives outside on the lanai by the pool and only comes in to eat, the other is either sleeping in our bed or in the living the room. We also have budgies. They sing during the day, but you don’t hear them from your bedroom, and you quickly come to love the sounds (or at least get used to it lol). We’re not “clean freaks” but cleanliness is very important to us, other than that we’re very easy going.

We like our privacy, but are very social and friendly. We would like someone with similar interests, this makes living together easier for all of us. We play music often, enjoy cooking, I workout in the living room, and we tend to stay up fairly late, but are also up by 7am. We’ll ofc respect the hours you need the home to be quiet. We appreciate and want open communication, we’re willing to help out when and if we can, and we’d like you to be as comfortable here as possible.
