My name is Olivia and I am the main tenant in the apartment looking for someone new after my current roommate moves back to Sacramento. I am a local from Santa Barbara, 37 year old female, work as a restaurant waitress/bartender and also am a yoga instructor. I spend most of my free time surfing, hiking, practicing/teaching yoga, weight training at the gym, reading and laying in the sunshine. I love music and listen often. I travel some and would love a roommate who also travels occasionally.

I enjoy sharing a home with someone who agrees that we can both live our individual lives comfortably as adults despite having a roommate. This requires effortful open communication and the willingness to be ourselves and develop trust to be comfortable in a shared dual-life home space. I am looking for a roommate of like-minded maturity, and who has a work schedule that is a day job during the week, such as Mon-Friday job from 8am -5pm. This works best as most of my work is in the evenings. Therefore, each of us would be able to enjoy a lot of alone time in the apartment with opposite work schedules.

I don’t drink, so definitely not looking for anyone expecting a party house. I don’t expect my roommate to be a non-drinker, but I am looking for someone who drinks very minimally as I do not want to deal with any drunken mishaps.

I like to keep a clean living space. I cook on occasion and always clean up after myself, so would expect the same of my roommate in the shared spaces. There will be an agreed upon bi-weekly cleaning schedule to help us keep accountable to those expectations.

I consider myself to have a warm, welcoming energy, easy to get along with and very open to communicating authentically. If we decide we are a good fit, next step would be to have you apply for the lease with the property management company, which includes a credit check. Sorry, no pets are allowed per our lease. Lease begins in March 2024 and lasts for one year.
