I’m looking for a FEMALE only, 18-early 30’s, who WORKS full time or a student and works etc with good communication/ texting. If you’re a student and your parents would be paying the rent, I would want to meet them in person (not FaceTiming or zooming). I don’t have any pets BUT cats are totally welcome. I love dogs too but I think the apartment would be too small for a dog.

Possible dealbreakers…Must be CLEAN, responsible, respectful, trustworthy and pay the rent on time. Sorry NO smoking (but you can smoke outside), NO drugs (including weed, but you can go outside) and NO guests in the apartment. I’m also only looking for someone who drives/ has their own vehicle.

The room is in a 2 bedroom apartment on the second floor of a 2 family house. It’s a smaller room, has a window AC and a decent size closet. The room is furnished with a twin bed (brand new mattress and box spring), a dresser with mirror/ hutch, a chest and a TV (I have a much bigger tv if you wanted). It’s a shared bathroom and kitchen/ kitchen area only. No living room. Street parking only but I always find a spot within a couple houses (getting home like 3-6pm). And even later then that it’s not bad. Rent includes everything/ utilities (heat, hot water, gas, electric and wifi). No splitting bills blah blah blah. Another plus is that there’s laundry in the basement. Lastly, if you have your own twin bed you wanted to use, I’d take off $400 off the first months rent.

The house is located right next to the downtown Clifton area, near Main Ave, Lakeview and Piaget. Close to rt 80, 46, 20, 21 and the GSP. It’s also 10 mins away (driving) from Montclair State University (MSU). Dunkin, 711, Walgreens, White Castle, Chinese Food, Pizza and much more are all within a mile/ walking distance.

To move in……Proof of income (copy of last 4 pay stubs), a copy of your drivers license/ photo ID, $1540 (First Months Rent $770 + $770 Security Deposit). It’s month-to-month, no lease, CASH or ZELLE only (rent receipts will be issued). I’m only looking for someone wanting to stay 6 months plus. The longer the better. Wait there’s more lol… you don’t have to worry about the rent going up for at LEAST 3 years OR worry about a roommate not coming up with their part of the rent.

I’m not going to sugar coat anything, it’s an older house and I have alot of “projects” going on lol. If you’re looking for a spacious mansion with a jacuzzi, this is not it lol. BUT if you want an economical, safe place to sleep, do homework/ study, cook, watch tv and relax in a decent friendly neighborhood with good trustworthy roommates, send me a TEXT.

It’s currently 2 roommates, one male (me) and one female. I’m Mike, friendly, reasonable and down to earth. I consider myself quiet. I work full time and cook a few times a week/ grill in the summer (occasionally in the winter too). I’m a night owl when I can be, 2 nights a week lol. I like to mess around with my cars and other projects I have going on. Other than that I pretty much live a simple life, keep to myself and just plain adulting. I’m a total animal lover but have no pets of my own. I don’t drink or do any drugs.

It’s my apartment and I rent out 1 of the 2 bedrooms to a 22 year old female. She graduated MSU last year, works 2 jobs, goes to the gym and isn’t home too often. She’s also very friendly.
