Looking to rent a room in my second floor two bedroom apartment. Located in a nice, well-managed apartment complex with elevator access and tenant parking. Plenty of natural light. Easy access to a little park behind the building. Central heating and cooling.

Utilities are electric and wifi. I have a washer but we can only use condenser driers in our units, so I hang dry and use the onsite laundry room to dry towels and such.

I have a chill, friendly 12 year old cat who loves humans but not other animals.

I rent the unit at an affordable housing cost. At the start of renting, you need to have a yearly income of $30,000 or less. After you’re established as a renter, though, we can collectively make up to $72,000 because they don’t want to keep us poor. It’s a great program. If you make over $30,000 then rent becomes $800 because we’ll no longer qualify for affordable housing. After we chat, you’ll need to fill out an application form and submit it to the building managers with a $35 application fee so they can perform a background check and ensure that you meet the income requirements.

I’m a 34 year old nonbinary AFAB person with ADHD who likes a quiet life. Not a drinker, but partake in medical cannabis. I’m a musician, and very respectful when it comes to volume, usually only playing acoustic when I’m home. Nerdy and nature loving. Reasonably tidy and hoping to find the same. All about open communication, empathy, and respecting boundaries.
