About the room
Spacious rm w high ceiling and large storage space in one of those sturdy, prewar colonials in Whitney Ave. The owner, who lives right below us, cares a lot about peace and quiet, so you need to be the type who actually turns the knob when you close the door. The neighborhood’s atmosphere is that of a comfortable suburb, in which families raise their children and retired folks walk their dogs. Parks literally surround us from all directions, while there are absolutely no bars, restaurants, or for that matter no businesses in a walking distance. Fun-loving young folks will be bored and even feel oppressed here for sure.
Besides peace and quiet, other benefits that come with the well-spread out three bedrooms include a good-sized eat-in kitchen, w/d in unit, and a sun-lit full bath. Your bdrm faces the comfortable-looking nextdoor house and not the street; this room should be absolutely serene. Living room is converted into a third bedroom, and that’s the secret of this pricing. Instead of a sofa in a living room, the dining table in the kitchen should be our cozy space for socialization with tea and cookies.
