About the room
The Space: The apartment is on the 3rd floor at 880 sq ft with your room being 11X11 with a decent sized walk in closet. The main hallway bathroom would be yours as ours is located in our bedroom. Visitors would have access to the main bathroom. Our living room is furnished, and the kitchen is stocked with all the basic cooking tools/essentials which leaves some, but not much, space for extra appliances/cookware. The bedroom will be empty, but there isnβt much extra storage in the common areas aside from the shared kitchen cabinets. We have both a washer and dryer in the unit. Our situation might be great for a student, someone newly moved out, or a professional who is looking for a calm environment. Our goal is to find a reliable roommate.
The Area: The apartment complex offers amenities such as a fitness center, public computers, a seasonal pool, and a year-round hot tub. The neighborhood is extremely walkable with nearby grocery stores (Safeway is very close by if you need something last minute), shops, parks, and restaurants all within blocks. The complex has ample parking, and finding a spot is never an issue. Our neighborhood is nice and quiet with easy access to I-5 and I-205.
About the roomies
Us: We live in separate places but are around each other and lifelong PNW natives looking for a roommate. The room will be available starting January 31 2024. One of us is a nurse and the other is a truck driver. We are tidy (but reasonable), friendly, responsible adults. Equity-minded and progressive in values, we hope to find someone like-minded. We enjoy cooking occasionally. We donβt party much but I enjoy gathering people for a night of Texas Holdem and other board games. We also try to keep regular loud/quiet hours. Regarding COVID-19, we are conscientious about safety and thoughtful about limiting the risk of bringing germs into the home. -David and Adrienne
You: We are hoping to find a mature, dependable roommate with an open communication style who can talk through issues when they arise. Non-smoker only, please. Weβd like a roommate who is considerate, thoughtful, and kind. The lease will require an income of at least $1,400. Your part of the rent will be $850 plus utilities. Utilities include electricity, water and internet and will be divided equally among both of us alongside the mandatory rental insurance. Your portion will be 125$ based on the time of year. We are asking First Month, Last Month and 300$ security deposit. There is a 40$ application fee
