Denise's room

This is a country property on 2 acres. There is a large fenced area to garden and sit outside to enjoy the birds, flowers, and the view. Feels remote, but very close to the freeway and 7 minutes to downtown Petaluma.

The property has 3 units on it. The room for rent is in the main and largest house. This is a 2 bedroom- 1 bath home with a great kitchen, living room and workout room. I have 2 horses that graze 1 fenced-in acre at the back of the property. 2 cats are very friendly and can go in and out of the mudroom, but do not live in the house. The landlord living on the property has friendly dogs, chickens, rabbits, and ducks that roam on the horses’ acre. Some space is available in the garage for storage. If you like country living, this is a dream home (small house, big land).

My name is Denise. I live in the main house. I am a 62-year-old, fit, active, healthy, and conscientious female who works full-time inside and outside the home, and spends weekends at home, in the garden, and meeting up with friends. I don’t drink, smoke, or party- I am looking for the same kind of roommate. I don’t have overnight guests and you would not have overnight guests or have romantic interests spending time in the house/ or on the property. I am quiet and tidy, cook vegetarian (I used to be a chef), and spend time in my home office. I request no meat cooking in the house. BBQ is fine.

I am looking for a housemate who likes animals, enjoys helping around the farm (a bonus), and does not bring any animals into this living situation. Also, she is quiet, private, respectful, and works outside the home during the week.

The landlord and his girlfriend live in the very cool converted barn and are quiet, friendly, and helpful. There is a couple and their dog who live in the small house. We are all friendly and respectful, and share space easily. No drama.
